Meet Tyler…
Tyler has always been a bit of a perfectionist, which seemed to be OK until he got a little older and life became a bit.. much. Now, he always seems stressed, worried, and even misses out on events because of his nerves. Sometimes his parents will allow him to skip events rather than make him go through the stress of it.
Through counseling, Tyler can learn to challenge his anxious ways of thinking and experiment with different ways of relating with his thought and feelings. Additionally, his parents can learn ways to empathically help him without enabling his fears. Ideally, Tyler can maintain his conscientiousness while being more relaxed about the outcome.
