…meet Mike

Mike squeaked through his first couple years of high school before anyone noticed any problems. His teachers and parents started commenting on how much better he'd do in school if he only “applied himself” more.

He went off to college because it seemed like the next thing to do but wasn't particularly excited about it. His parents’ fears can't true when he barely passed his first semester and ended up failing many classes his 2nd. Now, he's back home with his parents and seems more focused on video games than his future.

Through counseling Mike can explore his motivations and aspirations. He can start to think about his next steps and make an action plan that resonates. Meanwhile, his parents can learn ways to not accomodate his dependence and set more effective limits with him.

If any of this resonates with you, please reach out today. I'd be happy to talk.
